Etiquette
On the Course
In the interest of all players must play without holding up other golfers. A player must not start before the other players in front are out of shot.
Play at a good pace; walking rapidly. Be ready to play as soon as it is your turn and leave the green immediately after the end of the hole. At the green, place your bag or trolley towards the next start.
Priority
Alone player has no rights and must let all other parties through. All parties playing the full course have the right to pass ahead of a party not playing the full course. If a party loses its place on the course and finds itself outdistanced by more than one hole by the players in front, they must let the party behind them pass ahead.
Course Care
Replace any divots made whilst playing. Before leaving a bunker, the player must rake over any holes or footprints. Repair any ball marks or damage to the greens.
Dress code
It is imperative that the dress code be respected. No jeans, no metal studded shoes and no animals allowed on the course.
Competition
Inscription
Each player must produce their licence in order to sign up for a compettion. Inscriptions will be open a month before the actual date of the competition.
Teeing off
Any player signed up for a competition, who does not show, will be unable to play in the next competition. In the event of forfeiture the starter will be permitted to charge the tee times and/or teams in order to ensure smooth running.
Prize giving
At prize giving, if an award winner is absent then his/her prize will be attributed to the next person on the list. Out of respect to the sponsors it is preferable that the competitors be present.
Local Rules
Out of bounds are signalled by white batons, electric fences or mesh.
Water obstacles are signalled by yellow batons.
Water obstacles to the left or right are signalled by red batons and/or red tape.
Zones under repair are signalled by blue batons.
All zones that have been damaged by wild boar are considered as under repair: drop without penalty and without advancing towards the hole.
Fixed obstacles: pebble and tamac paths/trees with tutors/laurel bushes and all pathways form an integral part of the course.
Stones in bunkers are moveable objects.
